For Talent · Privacy at sign-up · Work and clients

Looking for work or clients without uploading ID just to sign up?

You may need to keep working, finding clients, or offering goods while becoming more careful about who receives your personal information. There is a difference between showing what you can do and giving a platform an ID document before a conversation exists.

Short answer: You can start with work samples, skills, services, or goods you can supply, while delaying sensitive details until they are actually needed. inclinq’s public pilot lets Talent create an account with a display name, email address and password—without uploading government ID or providing a phone number at sign-up.

The practical starting point

Accounts and Standard listings are free for both Projects and Talent during the inclinq public pilot. Learn how the platform works, then select your region to create an account.

Why asking for less data upfront matters

A platform may reasonably need specific information at a later stage, for example when a contract, payment, legal employment check, or regulated transaction requires it. But the question at sign-up is narrower: what does the platform truly need before someone even knows if an opportunity is relevant?

Minimizing early collection does not make fraud impossible or guarantee privacy. It limits which categories of information you must hand over at that first stage.

How to search for opportunities more carefully

No service can replace your judgment about whom to trust. Before sharing ID, banking or other sensitive details, establish that the request is real and the recipient is legitimate.

  • Start with the offer. Describe the work, product, skills, or service you can provide rather than publishing personal identification.
  • Verify counterparties. For job offers, independently verify the employer or Project and watch for requests that arrive before a real discussion.
  • Share details progressively. Provide only information relevant to the next legitimate step, using channels you consider appropriate.
  • Understand the fees. Registration, listing, and communication are different parts of a platform. Read the price before contacting someone.

What you can do on inclinq

You can open a Talent account for free, write a Standard listing showing your work, skills, services or goods you can supply, and explore Projects advertising their needs.

At sign-up, inclinq asks for a display name, email address, and password—not a government-issued ID document or phone number. A display name is not verified identity. Later, the people involved decide whether and how to share additional details. A counterparty or applicable law may still require identification for a particular activity.

THREAD pricing is separate: Talent messages incur a $1 charge in US and Global Remote, or ¥110 in Japan, at the first, 11th, 21st and later ten-message checkpoints per THREAD. This communication fee aims to discourage automated mass outreach. It does not buy or guarantee a job, client, response or contract.

Who the public pilot is for

The pilot welcomes both Projects advertising what they need and Talent showing what they offer. Talent is not limited to freelancers or job seekers: it also includes people who can provide services, expertise, or goods.

Because inclinq is in public validation, available opportunities and participation are not guaranteed. The useful starting point is free account creation and a clear Standard listing, not a promise of immediate work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I register on inclinq without a government ID?

Yes. Creating an account currently requires a display name, email and password. No government ID upload or phone number is required at sign-up. This is not a promise that identification is never needed for later transactions.

Do I have to pay to create an account or advertise my work?

No. Creating an account and posting a Standard Talent listing are free. Paid Premium advertising is optional. Talent THREAD communication has a separate charge at defined checkpoints.

Is the THREAD fee a guarantee I will find work?

No. It is a communication feature charge intended to make automated mass outreach costlier. A payment is not a promise of a job, project, sale, customer, or response.

Does inclinq need to hold my personal identity documents?

No identity documents are requested at account sign-up. A counterparty may later request necessary information for a transaction or lawful employment process; decide whether to share after verifying the recipient.

Can I offer services or physical goods as Talent?

Yes. Talent includes people offering work, skills, services, and goods they can supply. The Project side advertises the corresponding need.
